HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY MOMMA'S!!

We will be meeting at Stacy's house on April 7th at 7:00 pm. Dinner this month will be provided by Stacy Jack with Shirley J. It will be a great evening of networking, friendship, and fun! Just a reminder to bring business cards, fliers, coupons, and anything else you would like to send home with all of those attending.

Our focus this month: *Events* It's time to sign up for spring/summer events! At this meeting we will discuss all events coming up and share our tips and ideas for getting the best results from your efforts. Bring all your ideas and questions. I know this group is very knowledgeable on this subject and we can all learn from each other. :)

Prep~ what shows to attend, best place to get supplies, printing, what kind of things will you need, etc.
During~ building your database, anything you do to attract prospects, tried and true tips...
After~ follow up strategy, connecting with other vendors, etc.

We will also be taking reservations for the 2010 Pony Express Parade! If you can't make it this month but know you want to be involved just send me an e-mail and I will get your info. This is the 150th celebration and is sure to be a big hit! You must pay in advance to reserve your spot for that and be willing to help out the day of. More info on the blog!

Our focus this month: We will have another guest speaker this month! Lori & Dana with D'Lorie Business Solutions will be teaching us all about what we need to have in preparation for the upcoming tax season. We will learn what we can deduct and how to make our paper work for us in 2010! I'm very excited about this month because it's right up my alley :) so I will be presenting with them some tips on managing that overwhelming task of dealing with all the extra papers brought on by running a business. It's should be a fun and informative night!!

This month is a very exciting one! We are doing things a little different this month, the cost will be ONLY $5 to reserve your spot, and you will be responsible for your own dinner. We will have dinner and then play BINGO for prizes donated by Mommapreneurs and our lovely network of business women! If you would like to be a sponsor please contact us as soon as possible!! You will bring your donation that night, it can be any product or service, it's completely up to you what you offer. When someone wins your prize you will have the opportunity to stand up and tell us about your business. :) After bingo you will be free to mingle and network! (We will have a table set up for business cards and brochures) Those who didn't donate a prize will still be able to put their information out.

Pony Express Days Parade

We are so excited to be a part of the Pony Express Days Parade! Come support your local Mommapreneurs on Saturday, June 5th starting at 10am in Eagle Mountain. We are now taking reservations if you want to be featured with us please let us know as soon as possible so we can get your info on the fliers. This is the 150th celebration and is sure to be a big hit! You must pay in advance to reserve your spot. Your payment of $15 will be due by May 5th if you plan on participating. You don't have to attend the parade to be featured with Mommapreneurs. Let me know if you have any questions!

Upcoming Boutiques & Expos

It's that time of year again! Little Bee Craft is now accepting applications for Springville Art City Days (June 10-12) and Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days (June 17-19). You can find an online application on their website http://www.littlebeecraft.com. They are also doing the Utah County Fair this year. Contracts for this events are not ready at this time.

We will let you know when they become available.

If you would like to be a vendor or have any questions, feel free to call them at 801-769-6067. Now hurry and go get your booth, they will fill up fast!
